PHYSICIAN AND OWNER:
I am Gregory Hanson, M.D., and I am the owner of Hanson Internal Medicine, P.A. I was born in Baytown, Texas, and lived entirely in Texas through college (Rice University) and medical school (Texas Tech) until moving to the East Coast with my wife, Natalia, for assignment with the United States Navy. After 8 years of Naval Service (and two children later) in both Virginia and North Carolina, my family and I have returned. We plan to raise our children here.

Provided internal medicine primary care to 700 patients, along with consultant care to patients from surgery, family practice and obstetrics services
Served as ACLS affiliate faculty and as hospital CODE BLUE chairperson for 18 months
-2001-2003 Internal Medicine Resident, Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, a tertiary care center
-1999-2001 Medical Department Head, USS Whidbey Island LSD 41. Responsible for preventive and acute care of 300 Ship's company, 400 embarked Marines
-1998-1999 Transitional Internship, Naval Medical Center Portsmouth
-1998 Graduation from Texas Tech University School of Medicine; inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society
LOCATION:
We are located in Suite 240 of the ATRIUM building of Harris Methodist SouthWest Hospital. The easiest way to find us is to turn towards the hospital on Harris Parkway, park in the ATRIUM lot, and enter through the main entrance. Once inside, turn left and take the elevators to the second floor. Exit the elevator to the right, and look for our suite. Parking is free, or valet parking is available most days for $3.
